Minnesota Mystery Night with Michael Allan Mallory

 —  —

Lucky's 13 Pub, 1352 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota, MN

I'm so excited to be in conversation at Minnesota Mystery Night with award-winning mystery & crime writer Michael Allan Mallory (The Lost Dragon Murder, Tiger Claw). Michael is not only a terrific writer but an all-around lovely guy, and it will be a pleasure to pick his brain about this genre that I'm addicted to. I'll talk about The Girl in Duluth, the mystery I published in 2022 under the name Sigrid Brown, as well as the new mystery I'm working on.

Cheri and Jennifer's Books & Crafts Table at the Roosevelt Flea Market

 —  —

Roosevelt Arena, 17 2nd St, Roosevelt, MN

Every year when I was growing up in Lake of the Woods County in northern Minnesota, I went to the Roosevelt Flea Market on either July 3rd or 4th—sometimes both days. My grandpa was always there all day drinking coffee and smoking his pipe and my grandma often had a table where she sold her crafts and oil paintings. I always dreamed of having my own table at the market, and this year I will! Alongside one-of-my-best-friends-since-I-was-four Jennifer-- whose handmade bookmarks, coasters, and other crafts are gorgeous and meticulously made--I’m looking forward to sitting back and talking with everyone who comes by, the way my grandparents used to do (I’ll also, of course, be selling and signing copies of my novels Annika Rose and The Girl in Duluth). Please stop by to see us! The market is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 3rd and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 4th.
