During these pandemic times, Tamara and Julie have transformed one of their full-length live shows from 2015 into a new, creative video experience!
"Now is the Time" was originally created as a live performance piece integrating music, dance, and film. They have created this new rendition of the show from the original projection design and live performance footage. This collaboration between Julie Johnson (flute, bass flute, and live looping pedals) and Tamara Ober (film and dance) was performed as a live show for library and theatre audiences in 2015. "Now is the Time" offers a beautiful and uplifting journey through the four seasons. Seasonal images from all over the state of Minnesota offer a sense of travel through time and space. The piece also reflects the human heart and human nature through the cycles of the seasons.
